There's a fic somewhere out there where Cobb and Arthur are together, but Cobb doesn't know that Arthur doesn't really want to be.  I can't remember if it was guilt or what, but Arthur felt he had to do whatever Cobb wanted.

I read it way back when I was barely in the fandom, but now I'd like to reread it.
